Scope

AMTS describes terms, knowledge structures, and workflows that allow different assistant environments to reconstruct coherent project context.

The specification remains independent of vendors, models, programming languages, build systems, and project-management methods. Implementations follow AMTS; they do not define it.

Principles

• Documentation is the primary artifact.
• Structures remain human-readable and as simple as practical.
• Important decisions are recorded explicitly.
• The specification evolves incrementally and preserves compatibility where practical.
